Global climate change is forcing us to look for new and innovative ways to turn waste into resources and turn useful materials into recyclable materials. With the increase in urban housing, the problem of noise is also growing, which is encouraging the development of new sound insulation products in the construction market.
Specific objectives:
- Develop a technological process for the production of sound-insulating acoustic panels from recycled polyurethane, plastic and rubber waste. This developed acoustic panel would replace well-established alternatives to sound insulation products in the construction market;
- Contribute to the circular economy by reducing polluting polyurethane waste;
- Improving the quality of life in the city by tackling growing noise in an innovative way.
